Jasmin resides in Boyd, Texas, embraced by the love of a close-knit family. Robert, her husband, is her rock and steadfast support. Their greatest joys come from their remarkable children and their loving partners: Shai and James, Sydney and Clayton, Allison and Michael, Braden and Sammie, Storie, Terran, and Caitlyn. Their lives are further enriched by their beloved grandchildren: Caroline, Brukee, Carson, Casen, Bryar, Casen, and Kymber, who bring endless delight. (Yes, there are two Casens.)

Education has always been a cornerstone of her journey. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Texas, complemented by a Montessori Certification. Building upon this foundation, she pursued and earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Liverpool.

Since 1998, she has dedicated herself to supporting families as a doula and childbirth educator. Her midwifery education through the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program led her to become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) licensed in the State of Texas, a journey she embarked upon in 2004 and resumed in 2017 after a brief hiatus to homeschool her children from 2008 to 2017.

Throughout her career, she has been privileged to attend over 500 births across hospitals, birth centers, and homes throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area. Each birth is a unique chapter in her journey, enriching her ability to provide evidence-based information and compassionate support to families navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.

Her personal birthing experiences have profoundly shaped her approach to care. She first witnessed the significance of supportive labor care at her brother’s birth in a midwives' home in 1976. This was followed by her father's incredible role in catching her sister before the midwives arrived in 1978. These early experiences highlighted the impact of compassionate support during labor. Her own births, marked by transformative home deliveries with skilled midwives, further fueled her passion for nurturing and supportive birthing practices.

At the core of her philosophy is empowering women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions aligned with their unique needs and beliefs. She believes in the innate strength of women's bodies and the importance of providing unwavering support throughout their birthing journeys.

“It’s not just the making of babies, but the making of mothers that midwives see as the miracle of birth.” ~Barbara Katz Rothman
