Patricia (Patty) graduated from the Association of Texas Midwives and is a member of ATM and North Texas Midwives. She is a preceptor for ATM and NARM, educating and teaching student midwives throughout Texas. She is also an anatomy and physiology instructor for the Association of Texas Midwives.

Patty has experienced many facets of birth through birthing her 4 children in and out of the hospital. She believes every woman has her own journey to take and desires to hold that space for each one of her clients.

Patty has played an active role in birth since 2000. She was a certified birth Doula with DONA and was a Lamaze Labor Support Specialist serving women in hospitals throughout DFW.

In 2002, she added assisting CNM’s at two busy birth centers here in DFW as a birth/postpartum assist to include training, teaching CPR, and mentoring new birth assists.

In 2012, she embarked on becoming a licensed/certified professional midwife and graduated from the Association of Texas Midwives in 2016.

She is a Wise county resident and has always believed a birth center with midwives would serve the community well. In June of 2019, Kueo Birth Center’s doors were opened. This allows her, along with other local midwives who have privileges, to serve families of Wise county for birth center and home birth.

“All the glory goes to GOD!”

When not attending families, Patty enjoys time with her own. She is a lover of music, especially worship music, dancing, gardening, and traveling to her home state of Arkansas.
